my people typically don't frequent the Tamarind Tree due to its pitiful slow service, "upscale" clientele and drink menu options such as "mojitos". in addition, the Tamarind Tree charges .75 for simple white rice- which i believe is the equivilent of charging for salt on McDonalds french fries.
